Aircon Repair

Blinking lights, tripped breakers, puddles under the unit or a compressor that just hums — we diagnose on-site, explain the fault in plain language and quote before touching a part.

Technician measuring voltages on an aircon control board with a multimeter

Most aircon breakdowns come down to a shortlist of culprits: a worn capacitor, a lazy fan motor, a blocked drain, a failing sensor or a refrigerant leak. Our technicians carry the common parts for every major brand in the van, so the majority of repairs are finished in a single visit.

Faults We Fix Every Week

  • Unit powers on but blows warm air, or cooling cuts in and out.
  • Water leaking from the indoor unit onto walls or flooring.
  • Circuit breaker trips the moment the compressor starts.
  • Error codes flashing on the display or timer light blinking.
  • Loud rattling, grinding or clicking from the indoor or outdoor unit.
  • Remote control or PCB failures, faulty thermistors and sensors.

Repair or Replace? We'll Tell You Straight.

A ten-year-old 1.0HP unit with a dead compressor usually isn't worth saving — and we'll say so, even though a replacement earns us less than a big repair would. As a rule of thumb: if the repair costs more than half the price of an equivalent new unit and your aircon is past its eighth year, put the money toward a new, far more efficient inverter model. Either way, the decision is made with real numbers in front of you.
