Signs Your Aircon Is Low on Gas
- Air from the vents feels weak or barely cooler than the room.
- Ice or frost forming on the copper pipes or evaporator coil.
- The outdoor compressor runs continuously without the room reaching temperature.
- Electricity bills creeping up while cooling gets worse.
- A hissing sound near pipe joints — a possible active leak.

Top-Up or Full Regas?
If pressure is only slightly down, a straightforward top-up restores performance. If the system is nearly empty or contaminated, we recommend recovering the remaining charge, vacuuming the lines and refilling from zero — a full regas. And if the gas disappears again within weeks, don't keep buying refrigerant: the leak needs finding and fixing first. We'll tell you which situation you're in before any work begins.
