Aircon Chemical Wash

If your unit smells musty, drips onto the floor or blows noticeably weaker than it used to, the problem is almost always deep inside the coil — where a normal rinse can't reach.

Evaporator coil coated in foaming chemical cleaner during a deep wash

Malaysia's humidity turns the inside of an air conditioner into a greenhouse for mould and bacterial slime. Dust bonds with condensation on the evaporator fins, the drain tray grows a biofilm, and eventually the drainage line clogs — that's the drip on your parquet. A chemical wash strips all of it back to bare metal.

Our Chemical Wash, Step by Step

  • Protective sheeting laid under the unit and across nearby furniture.
  • Front panel, filters, blower wheel and drain tray fully dismantled.
  • Evaporator coil treated with a foaming alkaline cleaner that dissolves grime deep between the fins.
  • Dismantled parts soaked and scrubbed in chemical solution outside your room.
  • Drainage line flushed and vacuum-tested so condensate flows freely.
  • Everything reassembled, run and temperature-checked before we pack up.

Chemical Wash vs Normal Service

A general service — filter rinse, coil brush-down, pressure check — is your every-three-months maintenance and keeps a healthy unit healthy. A chemical wash is the reset button: once a year for most homes, more often for units running around the clock. If your aircon already smells or drips, book the wash; a surface clean will only hide the symptoms for a fortnight.
